Synopsis
Tsutomu Senkawa is an ordinary middle schooler until he gets caught in a street chase and is killed by accident. The interplanetary agent responsible, Birdy Cephon Altera, saves him the only way she can, by merging their bodies together. Sharing one body means covering for each other constantly, a secret that starts slipping once classmate Natsumi Hayamiya notices something is off about Tsutomu. This four-episode 1996 OVA is the original animated adaptation of the Birdy the Mighty manga and predates the later Decode TV series.
