Synopsis
Aoyama, a fourth-grader convinced he is smarter than most adults, sets out to solve the mystery of penguins suddenly appearing around his suburban town. His research partner is the woman he calls Onee-san, a dental assistant he has a quiet crush on, whose knowledge of the penguins runs deeper than she lets on. This manga adapts the original Penguin Highway novel, following Aoyama's notebook-and-hypothesis approach to the strangest summer of his life.
