Planetarian: Storyteller of the Stars

A scavenger known as the Junker breaks into a ruined, rain-soaked city and finds a still-running planetarium staffed by Hoshino Yumemi, a robot who has waited decades for a visitor. Helping her repair the theater's star projector changes the course of his life, pulling him away from the plunder-and-survive existence he has always known. This film combines the original Planetarian visual novel with material from its light-novel sequel, following where that first encounter eventually leads him.
