Synopsis
During the Hundred Years' War, noble's son Montmorency studies magic and alchemy at a royal knight academy until France's defeat at Agincourt forces the school to close. Newly made an alchemist, stripped of everything and hunted, he meets a mysterious village girl named Jeanne who will become known to history as Joan of Arc. Their encounter sets the alternate-history light novel series in motion, recasting Jeanne's rise alongside knights like La Hire.
