Following the group's escape from Celes, Kurogane reunites with Princess Tomoyo as the party arrives in Nihon in search of a way to restore Sakura's soul. Syaoran clashes with the assassin Seishirou over one of Sakura's scattered feathers and is pulled into a dream world where he crosses paths with Sakura, Watanuki, and a mysterious double of himself. This OVA picks up directly after the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle TV series and its Tokyo Revelations OVA.
