In the year 300X, the hair-obsessed Maruhage Empire is shaving the population bald one town at a time until Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, a wandering fighter who battles using his own nose hair, steps in to stop them. He picks up allies just as strange as he is along the way, among them Don Patch, Beauty, and the soft-serve-headed Softon, as the group barrels through the empire's agents in increasingly absurd showdowns. The manga's gag-driven chaos leans on parody and fourth-wall breaks more than any ongoing plot.
