Synopsis
Takeru Shirogane wakes with memories of an alternate timeline in which humanity spent thirty years losing a war against the alien BETA. Determined to change course, he enlists at a military base under vice-commander Yuuko Kouzuki, training alongside Meiya Mitsurugi and Sumika Kagami to pilot Tactical Surface Fighters. As BETA forces close in, Takeru works to head off Alternative V, a desperate evacuation plan, using knowledge only he remembers. This TV anime adapts the opening arc of the Muv-Luv Alternative visual novel.
