Ash and his Pikachu arrive in Michina Town just as the legendary Pokemon Arceus returns to punish humanity for a betrayal centuries earlier, when the Jewel of Life it had lent the town was never given back. Dialga, Palkia and Giratina throw themselves in front of its fury, and Dialga sends Ash and his friends into the past to find out what really happened on the day of the betrayal. This manga condenses the twelfth Pokemon film into three chapters.
