Eleven volumes trace erotica novelist Taketo Akutagawa's run through Sen Academy, a school that only admits students with a singular, often bizarre gift. His talent gets him in but earns him little respect, and most of the student body looks down on him. Around him gathers a circle of equally unusual classmates: a clarinettist, a mathematics prodigy, a photographer, a programmer. This original light novel is the source material behind the later manga and anime adaptations.
