Synopsis
On the war-scarred island of Lodoss, the young swordsman Parn leaves his home village to make himself a knight and clear the name of his disgraced father, gathering companions along the way: the high elf archer Deedlit, the sorcerer Slayn, and the dwarf warrior Ghim. Their journey collides with the sorceress Karla, who has spent centuries tipping the balance of power so that no kingdom on Lodoss can ever prevail, and with Ashram, the dark knight who serves Marmo's Emperor Beld.
