Synopsis
Ten years after the events of the original Inazuma Eleven, soccer in Japan has been reduced to a scripted spectacle: the governing body Fifth Sector predetermines match outcomes before a ball is even kicked. Matsukaze Tenma, a middle-schooler who just wants to play the game for real, tries to join the Raimon soccer club only to watch it get crushed by a mysterious rival team on his first day, and decides Fifth Sector's rigged system is exactly what he's going to fight.
