Ramune runs a clinic for ailments no ordinary doctor can diagnose: a girl who cries seasoning instead of tears, a man with foreign objects lodged where they shouldn't be. Each case starts when a kai latches onto a worry its patient has buried, so Ramune and his apprentice Kuro have to drag that hidden trouble into the open before the symptoms will lift.
