Synopsis
Yusuke Urameshi, a 14-year-old delinquent with no interest in school or rules, dies after pushing a child out of the path of a speeding car. The afterlife's prince Koenma, caught off guard by the selfless act, offers Yusuke a second chance at life — on the condition that he serve as Spirit Detective, investigating demon activity in the human world. Guided by the ferry girl Botan and joined by rival-turned-ally Kazuma Kuwabara, Yusuke takes on cases that pit him against increasingly dangerous apparitions.
