Synopsis
Picking up where Hakuoki Movie 1: Kyoto Ranbu left off, this second film follows the Shinsengumi as the tide of the Bakumatsu war turns against them. Chizuru Yukimura, now bound to the fate of the swordsmen who took her in, stands beside Hijikata Toshizou and Okita Souji as their unit is pushed toward its final stand, forced to reckon with what's left of the cause they've fought for.
