Call of the Night

よふかしのうた

Kou Yamori, a restless middle-schooler who has stopped going to class, starts wandering his city after dark and meets Nazuna Nanakusa, a vampire living above a mahjong parlor. When Kou decides he wants to become a vampire, Nazuna reveals the condition: a human can only turn if they genuinely fall in love with the vampire who bites them. Spending his nights with Nazuna and crossing paths with other vampires hidden among the city's nightlife, Kou tries to understand what falling in love actually means.
