Tenchi Masaki starts vanishing from his own home movies after the escaped criminal Kain erases his mother Achika Masaki from history to strike at Jurai's royal family. To save Tenchi from being wiped out of existence, Ryoko, Washu, Sasami, Mihoshi, Aeka, and Kiyone follow Kain back to 1970 Tokyo to protect Achika before he can finish the job. This feature film picks up after the Tenchi Universe TV series and closes out its own story as a stand-alone adventure.
