Prince Bojji, born deaf and so small he can barely lift a sword, is mocked by his father's subjects as unfit to inherit the throne of the Bosse Kingdom. When King Bosse dies and succession falls into dispute, Bojji's younger half-brother Daida claims the crown while Bojji sets out on a journey with Kage, a shadow-like survivor of a wiped-out assassin clan, to prove he can become the greatest king the ranking has ever seen.
