Nyako and Nyatta, the same white cat siblings from Nekojiru's manga, bully, torment, and stumble their way through a family life these two-minute animated shorts never treat as anything but normal. The animation is deliberately crude and minimal, there is no music at all, and the deadpan tone of the original strips is left entirely intact. Some episodes aired as segments inside a late-night comedy program, while others were finished but never broadcast.
