In Heaven's animal design department, rookie angel Shimoda is assigned to relay the near-daily requests of the department's one client: God. Under his supervising angel Ueda, and working with designers like Kanamori and Mizushima, Shimoda watches the team reverse-engineer vague specs into real animals, answering along the way why unicorns can't actually exist or what would make the strongest ocean predator. Each animal's design process plays as its own comedy bit grounded in real biology.
