Synopsis
Seven years after the One Year War, the Earth Federation's Titans are supposed to police the colonies but have become an occupying force. The resistance group AEUG launches a raid on a Titans base at Side 7 to steal their new mobile suit, the Gundam Mk-II. Local teenager Kamille Bidan gets caught up in the raid and steals the Mk-II himself out of anger at the Titans, ending up drafted onto the AEUG warship Argama under veteran captain Bright Noa. This first film in the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation trilogy compiles the TV series' opening episodes with new animation and a rescored soundtrack.
