Eiri Kurahashi, an art student working part-time at an antique shop, becomes fixated on a Victorian-era portrait of a girl named Cossette after her spirit begins appearing to him, pleading to be saved. Every previous owner of the painting has died in a bizarre, violent way, and as Eiri investigates why, he uncovers Cossette's own history: she was murdered centuries earlier by the very artist who painted her portrait. This manga by Asuka Katsura adapts the same year's Le Portrait de Petit Cossette OVA.
