Synopsis
High schoolers Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji are pulled into the fight for an Earth that Cephiro's castle has already darkened and left in ruins. The ice witch Alcyone traps Hikaru in a shifting magical maze while Umi and Fuu search for the god-like Mashin, which must merge with the Magic Knights to turn them into giant warriors capable of standing against Cephiro's forces. This stand-alone OVA reimagines the Magic Knight Rayearth cast in a darker continuity separate from the original TV series.
