Synopsis
Deunan Knute serves as an ESWAT operative in the post-nuclear city of Olympus, a society built around Bioroids: engineered citizens meant to keep the peace under the supercomputer Gaia. When disillusioned officer Calon Mautholos turns to terrorism against the ruling council, Deunan and her cyborg partner Briareos Hecatonchires are deployed to stop the unrest before it spreads. This 1988 OVA is the original animated adaptation of Shirow Masamune's Appleseed manga.
