Yuuri Mito, heir to a family that has tended the Yachimata Shrine for generations, is pulled in when an old sealed relic surfaces during construction on his academy's grounds. The rite meant to move its spirit on goes wrong and frees the goddess Kikuramikami no Hime, who takes the form of a small child, moves in under the name Mashiro and declares herself his wife.
