Synopsis
Seigi Nakata rescues a stranger from a group of drunk assailants one night, only to learn the man he saved is Richard Ranasinghe de Vulpian, a British jewelry appraiser working out of a shop called Jewelry Étranger. Seigi brings Richard a family heirloom to appraise, and the reading uncovers a personal story buried in the stone that pulls the two of them into the first of many cases about what people hide behind the jewelry they carry.
