Synopsis
Momoko Futo, Shibumi Shibusawa, and Mayumi Furui move through an ordinary high school day, from classes to convenience-store runs to after-school hangouts, entirely without dialogue, told through expressions, sound effects, and comic-strip timing instead of speech bubbles full of words. Momoko is accident-prone but pretty, Shibumi keeps a cool head no matter what happens, and Mayumi's wide-eyed innocence sets off the other two's antics. The silent-manga format gives Joshi Kausei a different reading rhythm than a typical slice-of-life comedy, and it later became the basis for a 2019 TV anime.
