Momoko Kuzuryuu, heir to the dragon-blooded Kuzuryuu martial arts clan, is sent to marry Koushi Inuzuka under a family pact meant to keep her clan's fighting bloodline alive. Koushi has quit martial arts to study law and wants nothing to do with an arranged marriage, but Momoko's father insists only a strong husband can carry on what he believes she, as a woman, cannot. The manga plays their culture clash for slapstick comedy as her rivals and admirers keep crashing into Koushi's ordinary life.
