Jealous of Suneo Honekawa's new robot dog, Nobita Nobi orders a batch of robots from the future, and in the chaos that follows a lost robot boy named Poko turns up in the neighbourhood, separated from his mother Maria. Taking him home means a trip to the Robot Kingdom, where Empress Jeanne has decreed that every robot be stripped of its emotions since her father died in an accident, while her advisor Dester quietly steers that decree toward his own ends. Nobita, Doraemon, and their friends stay with Poko to stop the order before it reaches his mother.
