Frustrated with school and home, Nobita Nobi wishes magic were real, and one of Doraemon's gadgets grants it, replacing science with sorcery across the world. Struggling as always with spellcasting, Nobita meets Professor Mangetsu and his daughter Miyoko, who warn that a black hole once thought destroyed is bearing down on Earth. The group has to face the Underworld's tyrant king to stop it, and when the fix unravels, they're pulled into a parallel version of events to save Miyoko a second time. This film remakes the 1984 Doraemon movie of the same story.
