Synopsis
Izaya Orihara and the otaku Erika Karisawa turn up across several of the nine short stories in this side-story collection, threading through the same cast as the main Durarara!! novels amid Ikebukuro's tangle of gangs, gossip, and rumors. The pieces reach back into the cast's earlier lives, from Mikado and Masaomi as children to Anri and Mika in middle school and Shizuo's first days working with Tom, and forward to a coming-of-age ceremony that arrives out of nowhere. Each chapter stands on its own rather than building one continuous plot.
