Touko Amano catches Konoha Inoue eating paper at school and drags the reluctant boy into the literature club, where she assigns him a fifty-minute writing prompt she can turn into an after-school "snack." This time she wants a love story built out of unrelated objects, and while Konoha writes, Touko rambles about Ivan Turgenev's "First Love." When she finally eats his finished draft, she is unimpressed with the ending, but the two settle back into their usual after-school routine anyway.
