Daisuke Dojima and four childhood friends are swallowed by a phenomenon called the Shibuya Drift, which flings them three hundred years into their own devastated future. There they find Shibuya hunted by the Revisions, humans merged with machinery who attack from towering mechanical bodies, and meet a girl named Miro who offers them mechs known as String Puppets to fight back. Daisuke and his friends have to learn to pilot them fast if they want any chance of finding a way home.
