Toru Kouno transfers to an all-boys academy and learns of a tradition that will upend his year: select students are chosen as "Hime," dressing in feminine princess attire to cheer on the school at events. Kouno becomes one of three, alongside sharp-tongued Shihoudani and short-fused Mikoto, and the trio has to manage costume fittings, crowd duties, and each other while keeping the act going.
