Yurie Hitotsubashi, an ordinary middle schooler in the coastal town of Onomichi, wakes up one morning to find she has become a kami, a Shinto goddess, with no idea how or why. Her friend Matsuri Saegusa sees an opportunity to save her family's struggling shrine by putting the newly divine Yurie to work in place of its faded local deity, Yashima-sama. Yurie has to juggle shrine duties and untested powers with schoolwork, friends, and her crush on classmate Kenji Ninomiya. This manga expands on scenes and side stories beyond the TV anime.
