Synopsis
Twenty thousand years after fleeing a Godzilla-ruled Earth, wounded commander Haruo Sakaki wakes among the Houtua, a tribe of humans who adapted to survive on the changed planet. With supplies running out and the mission on the edge of collapse, the crew has to decide whether to keep fighting or give up and go home. A lead on the Bilusaludo aliens' Mechagodzilla project offers a possible weapon, but Godzilla has evolved dramatically across the intervening millennia, and nothing about victory is guaranteed. This film continues directly from Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters.
