Synopsis
Mei Tachibana spent years avoiding close relationships after childhood friends turned on her and blamed her for the death of a class pet. By high school she has no friends and prefers it that way — until a misunderstanding leads her to roundhouse-kick the popular Yamato Kurosawa. Rather than getting angry, Yamato takes an interest in her and gives her his phone number. As they start dating, Mei struggles with trusting another person while navigating rivals, jealousy, and the gap between Yamato's social ease and her own isolation.
