Jomy Marcus Shin lives an unremarkable life on a colony ship until doctors flag him during a routine screening: he is one of the Mu, a psychic offshoot of humanity hunted by the supercomputer that controls where people live and who is allowed to have children. Smuggled away from execution, Jomy is named the Mu's next leader by their dying commander, Soldier Blue, and forced to choose between keeping his people hidden or leading them in open war to reclaim the abandoned homeworld, Terra. This manga is the original telling of the story, later adapted into a 1980 film.
