In a future where the supercomputer Mother controls where humanity lives and who may have children, fourteen-year-old Jomy Marcus Shin fails a routine screening and is revealed as one of the Mu, a persecuted psychic race in hiding. Rescued and brought aboard their ship, he receives the memories and title of the dying Mu leader Soldier Blue, who leaves him to decide whether the Mu keep hiding or fight to reclaim their abandoned homeworld, Terra. This 1980 film adapts the manga of the same name.
