Synopsis
Ash Ketchum oversleeps on the morning he's supposed to receive his first Pokémon, and ends up paired with a stubborn Pikachu that doesn't want anything to do with him. As the two slowly learn to work together, they set off with new friends Verity and Sorrel and cross paths with the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow. This manga adapts the 2017 anniversary film I Choose You!, retelling Ash and Pikachu's earliest days on the road together.
