A wedding in a village he is passing through sets Tanjiro Kamado thinking about his sister Nezuko's future and sends him after a flower out of legend, in the story that opens this five-part collection of Demon Slayer side tales. Another piece returns to the first demon Zenitsu Agatsuma ever killed; a third has Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke avoiding every girl in sight after a fortune-teller warns them off women; a fourth follows Aoi Kanzaki and Kanao Tsuyuri on an errand away from the Butterfly Mansion. A comedy chapter set at Kimetsu Academy closes the book.
