Orphaned after a demon killed their parents, Kanae and Shinobu Kochou are taken in by Gyomei Himejima, who urges them to live quiet lives and, when they refuse, sets them a boulder to move, expecting the task to break their resolve. Five more stories follow: Mitsuri Kanroji trying to lock her feelings of love away, every Hashira attempting on their Master's orders to make Giyu Tomioka laugh, the bond between the Shinazugawa brothers, and Zenitsu and Inosuke hunting for a hot spring during Tengen Uzui's training. A Kimetsu Academy story closes the book with the cast forming a band.
