Synopsis
During the seventeen quiet months after Sosuke Aizen's defeat, with Ichigo Kurosaki stripped of his Shinigami powers, a skull-faced woman turns up in Karakura Town and draws in Don Kanonji, the self-declared spiritualist of the century. Soul Society has worse trouble: Souya Azashiro, the eighth Kenpachi, who took the title centuries ago by cutting down his predecessor Kenpachi Kuruyashiki and was sealed in the Muken for it, uses the chaos to escape, and an Arrancar wearing the dead Szayelaporro Granz's face surfaces with a band of Arrancar children. This two-part novel fills the gap Ichigo sits out.
