Years after leaving the palace, Soo-won hears a voice in a crowded street that stops him cold, certain for a moment that it belongs to Yona before he turns and finds a stranger instead. Three linked stories gather around that moment: two are framed as counseling sessions with the dragon warrior Jae-ha, and they bookend a longer piece that follows Yona, Shin-ah, Ki-ja, and Soo-won's own path since the events that split them apart. The collection fills gaps between arcs of the ongoing Akatsuki no Yona manga rather than moving its main plot forward.
