Synopsis
Nao Kanzaki is honest to a fault, which makes her an easy mark when she's mailed 100 million yen and told she must steal the same amount back from her assigned opponent within a month, or fall into crushing debt. Her opponent turns out to be her own former middle school teacher, and Nao has no idea how to out-scheme anyone. She turns to Shinichi Akiyama, a brilliant con artist fresh out of prison who initially wants nothing to do with the game, for help surviving round one of the Liar Game, a tournament built entirely on lies and betrayal.
