Two new encounters slot into Jotaro Kujo's journey across Egypt in this light novel side story set during Stardust Crusaders. In "The Train from the Desert to Hell City," Jotaro and the Joestar group face off against twin Stand users Absalom and Michal, who despise the civilization they are heading toward. The second story, "The Gravestone of Hot Sand," waits for them in Cairo, where an ancient scribe turns his scripture into a Stand. Neither story appears in the original manga serialization.
