Three years after an alien mothership settled over Tokyo without explanation, high schoolers Kadode Koyama and Ouran Nakagawa are trying to just get through their last year before graduation. Kadode's easy calm and Ouran's blunter edge play off each other as classmate Keita Ooba pulls them deeper into online rumors about what the ship really wants. Around them, adults argue about evacuation, weapons, and whether the government is telling the truth. This two-part theatrical adaptation of Inio Asano's manga follows the girls' ordinary school year unfolding directly underneath a threat nobody can explain.
