Three years into the alien mothership's silent vigil over Tokyo, high schoolers Kadode Koyama and Ouran Nakagawa are just trying to finish their last year of school like everyone else. Kadode's father Hiroshi Nakagawa and classmate Keita Ooba orbit the pair as rumors spread about what the ship is waiting for. Homework, part-time jobs, and friendship keep their ordinary rhythm even as evacuation drills and news broadcasts remind everyone the threat never left.
