Alpha Hatsuseno runs a nearly empty café at the edge of Yokohama, waiting for the human owner who left years ago to come back, in a world where the sea has risen and civilization has quietly wound down. When a courier android named Kokone Takatsu delivers a camera sent by that absent owner, Alpha starts photographing the small, ordinary things around her: a passing cloud, an old customer, the light on the water. She is holding onto moments she is afraid of forgetting. Adapted from the manga of the same name, these two episodes follow Alpha's unhurried days rather than any single event.
