College student Yuuhi Amamiya is recruited by a talking lizard named Sir Noi Crezant to help save the world from Animus, a mage plotting to crush the Earth with an orbiting weapon called the Biscuit Hammer. His new neighbor, Samidare Asahina, turns out to be a princess with her own agenda: she'd rather destroy the world herself than save it. Pulled into her scheme against his better judgment, Yuuhi starts working through old wounds he'd rather have left alone.
