In this alternate-universe spinoff of 86 -Eighty Six-, the war between the Republic of San Magnolia and its enemies never happened, and Shinei Nouzen and Vladilena Milizé are just ordinary high schoolers instead of soldiers. Together with classmates Kurena Kukumila and Anju Emma, they navigate club activities, a culture festival, and the everyday churn of school life the original series' characters never got to have. Stripped of the source material's military stakes, this manga plays the same cast for slice-of-life comedy and light romance instead.
